I’m Tara Adams, a Licensed Master Esthetician and Permanent Makeup Artist and the face behind Isla (pronounced Eye-la) Esthetics in Shelton, Washington. I’ve been a licensed Esthetician since 2007, with advanced training in skin health, acne care for both adults and teens, oncology esthetics for those navigating the side effects of cancer treatments, corrective chemical peels, Microneedling, brow design, waxing, and permanent cosmetics.
It’s safe to say that I’m obsessed with all things skin, and I prioritize staying up to date on the latest innovations and advanced treatments. Education is everything to me! I’m constantly investing in training so that I can bring you the best of the best.
I’m proud to say I’m continuing my education and as of July 2026, have gone back to school to become an Electrologist! Electrology is the only FDA-recognized form of permanent hair removal that works on all parts of the body for all skin colors and all hair colors (unlike laser hair removal/reduction). This incredible service will be launching early in 2027!
