What to expect:
Days 0-2: Instant reduction in fine lines and wrinkles post-treatment. Skin will be tighter, firmer and plumper with a healthy glow. There is no recovery period and clients may apply makeup and go out a few minutes after their facial. Sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) must be worn for the next 7 days.
Days 3-5: The micro-peeling effect takes place, the skin may feel a bit dry and the top layer of old dead skin may gently flake or peel to reveal healthy new skin.
Days 5-10: Renewed, more youthful looking skin is revealed. Many long term improvements (such as a more pronounced reduction in fine lines and wrinkles and an improvement in tone and texture) develop when performed in a series of treatments and combined with a professional home care regimen.

During treatment, the Celluma panel is placed over the skin so the light can reach the targeted area evenly. Dermaplaning is a modern exfoliating treatment that uses a sharp, specialized tool with light, feathery strokes to painlessly clear away the surface layers of dead skin cells and fine hair. This brightens skin, helps your skincare products absorb better and allows makeup to lay smoother on your skin.
While it is known for removing fine vellus (peach fuzz) hairs in the process, this service is not specifically intended for hair removal as the hair is simply cut below the surface of the skin and will regrow shortly after. If you have course, wiry facial hair (such as chin hairs) this regrowth will feel like stubble. If you’re looking to remove facial hair, waxing is recommended instead.
Dermaplaning is not recommended for those with active acne, acne-prone skin or very mature skin with deep wrinkling. Oil from the sebaceous glands needs to travel up along the villous hair to be excreted. So when the hair is removed, the oil can build up and block pores on the face. This in turn causes breakouts for people who are prone to them. Those with deep wrinkles or skin laxity may also not have the best result as the tool cannot easily get into deep crevices to exfoliate. In addition, anyone with numerous raised lesions or skin irregularities or a nickel allergy should not undergo dermaplaning.
If you’ve ever considered or have experience with Microdermabrasion to freshen up your complexion, there is an innovative technique for skin rejuvenation called Dermafile, a holistic Microdermabrasion wand that is a gentler, no-suction alternative to traditional Microdermabrasion.
A Dermafile treatment uses finely crushed diamonds to micro-polish the skin and remove the top layer of dead skin cells, like a conventional Microdermabrasion procedure, but without the abrasiveness and potential damage to thin or delicate skin due to the traditional machines which use suction.
The wand may be passed over the skin several times to ensure that every layer is buffed evenly, and your esthetician can even choose to concentrate on a particular area that has a high level of skin pigmentation or skin irregularities, while polishing the entire face.

The Ultrasonic Skin Scrubber produces 24,000Hz per second of ultrasonic waves that effectively loosen debris and dead skin cells in pores, giving you a more thorough deep clean. It also provides gentle retexturizing results as well as encouraging product penetration, increasing blood flow, and strengthening skin metabolism with the safe and gentle vibrations of ultrasound technology. Facial Gua Sha, the holistic skin-massage technique based on a traditional Chinese medicine method, has gained huge momentum and a loyal following among skin care buffs.
